Suitable surplus food that is safe for consumption may be responsibly redirected to people in need of food, through community kitchens, food banks and charitable partners in Mauritius. This helps reduce avoidable food waste while making sure good meals reach families and individuals who need them most.

Environmental

We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint through:

Reducing unnecessary packaging and promoting reusable or recyclable options.
Reducing food waste through responsible surplus-food management.
Encouraging efficient and grouped deliveries where possible.
Supporting local sourcing to strengthen local supply chains.
Exploring tree-planting and environmental initiatives in Mauritius.
Operating in line with the Environment Protection Act 2002 and applicable waste regulations, covering food packaging, plastic use and waste disposal.
