K-LiT
Nutrition Disclaimer
Last updated: 31 August 2026
K-LiT meal plans, suggestions and AI assistants are here to support healthier everyday choices — they are not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice.
Informational only
Nutrition figures (calories, carbs, protein, fat, sodium, sugar) and NCD-friendly tags are approximate and provided as general guidance. Actual values vary with portion size, ingredient brands and preparation.
Not medical advice
Nothing on K-LiT diagnoses, treats or cures any medical condition. Our healthier adaptations (less salt, pan-grilled, Stevia for sweets, Himalayan salt for savoury) are designed to support — not replace — advice from your doctor or dietitian.
Consult a professional
If you manage diabetes, hypertension, kidney disease, gout or any condition, please consult a qualified nutritionist or physician before relying on any meal plan. K-LiT partner nutritionists are available on the Nutritionists page.
AI assistants
Our AI Nutrition Assistant, Food Assistant and Ingredient Scanner suggest dishes and ideas. Their output may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be the sole basis for health decisions.
Allergies & intolerances
Nutrition suitability does not mean allergen-free. See our Food Safety & Allergen Information page and contact us before ordering for any severe allergy.
Nutrition & health claims
Claims such as 'healthy', 'low salt' or 'suitable for diabetics', and specific calorie or nutritional statements, are reviewed against applicable Mauritian food legislation — including the Food Act 2022 and Food Regulations 2024 — before they are published on K-LiT. Our nutrition tags describe suitability for everyday healthier choices, not guaranteed health outcomes.
Liability
K-LiT and Learner Squad are not liable for any health outcome resulting from reliance on our meal suggestions or nutrition information in place of professional advice.
