K-LiT
Allergen Information
Last updated: 31 August 2026
Your safety matters. This page explains how K-LiT handles allergens so you can make informed choices.
Our commitment
Every K-LiT dish lists its key ingredients and dietary tags (Vegetarian, Vegan, No Pork, Gluten-Free, Halal, Low Sodium, Low Sugar) in the app. Where known, common allergens are noted, but meals are prepared in kitchens that handle multiple ingredients.
Common allergens
Our menu may include or come into contact with: gluten (wheat), dairy, eggs, fish, shellfish, peanuts and tree nuts, sesame, soy and sulphites. Mauritian cuisine often uses mustard seeds, curry leaves and coconut. If you have a severe allergy, please treat all dishes as potentially cross-contaminated.
Cross-contamination
Although we follow good hygiene practices, we cannot guarantee any meal is completely free from traces of an allergen. This is especially important for life-threatening allergies.
Custom meals & health conditions
Our NCD-friendly adaptations (less salt, less oil, pan-grilled, Stevia for sweets, Himalayan salt for savoury) are designed for conditions like diabetes and hypertension. They do not make a meal allergen-free. Tell us your needs when ordering.
How to inform us
Add your allergies in your Health Profile, and mention severe allergies in the order notes or when booking a consultation. For the latest ingredient detail on any dish, contact us before ordering.
