K-LiT
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026
K-LiT (operated by Learners Squad) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the K-LiT app and website.
Information we collect
Account information: name, email address and password (stored securely) when you register or sign in.
Health profile: goals, health conditions, dietary preferences, allergies and biometrics you choose to save for personalised meal recommendations and your Health Passport.
Order & payment data: meal selections, delivery details and limited payment metadata. Card details are processed by our payment provider (MIPS) and never stored on our servers.
Usage data: device type and interactions with the app, used to improve the service.
How we use your information
We use your data to: provide and personalise the service, process orders and membership payments, book consultations with nutritionists, share your Health Passport only when you authorise it, send service emails, and comply with Mauritian law.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only: with payment and email providers to operate the service, with a nutritionist you explicitly authorise through Health Passport sharing, or when required by law. Family Account and Gift data stays visible only to you.
Data security
We apply row-level access controls so each user can only access their own records, and sensitive entities (Health Passport, Membership) are protected by strict access rules. No method is fully secure, but we work to protect your data under the Data Protection Act 2017 (Mauritius).
Your rights
You may access, correct or request deletion of your personal data, and revoke any active Health Passport share links at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us below or use the delete-account option in the app.
Children's privacy
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Family Account profiles for minors are managed by the parent or guardian who created them.
